I just read that "The results of the 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level Examination will be released on Friday, 2 March 2012."
Cue momentary panic. I'm not kidding, I had a moment of full-blown, heart-stopping, "OMG!" panic.
Then I remembered that it's been more than ten years since I sat for (and passed!) my A-Levels.
This is what happens when I get (re)hooked on '90s TV shows. I'm just messing with my own space-time continuum.

Burned Weekend
I did absolutely jack all this past weekend. Planned to bake pineapple tarts, but didn't. Planned to catalogue my books, but didn't. Planned to clear out my old shelving unit and toss it, but didn't.
The best-laid plans, ey?
Instead, spent all weekend eating, sleeping, and watching reruns of White Collar.
Seems just like yesterday I was walking out of the office for the weekend.
Tomorrow, I shall do a spot of shopping for Christmas, and stock up on the baking essentials. Look out, Phoon Huat, here I come.

Over The Hump
Finally! This week has been a bit weird. Monday felt like Tuesday, Tuesday felt like Thursday, today felt like Tuesday... someone's been messing about with the space-time continuum, I bet. Spent most of yesterday watching the clock as well. The week started off really meh, but it seems to be picking up.
Needless to say, but I'm saying it anyway, it wasn't the most productive of days. However, I did manage to clear a good bit of filing, so that's always decent. I need more work space, I tell ya!
Went grocery shopping after that. Since I'd had dinner and was no longer hungry, the chocolates had no effect on me. Also, NTUC has boring chocs, unlike Marketplace. Did manage to get me some fish and chicken, and lots of vegetables. Asparagus and portobello mushrooms. Very noms.
Unfortunately, by the time I got home, I was too tired and/or lazy to actually cook. Plopped myself in front of Red, and didn't start preparing tomorrow's lunch until about 11.30. Was planning on some grilled fish, but like I said, didn't feel like cooking. So it's the safe and easy tuna & apple salad.
Good catching up with Doof today, even though it wasn't really a proper catch up. Also, now thanks to Doof, I really really want a certain domain. But I'll not say what it is, because one of you will just snatch it up. You lot are mean that way.
Yes, Doof. I'm looking at you.
No really, as I type this, I'm looking at you.
Alright then. I'm tired, and it's definitely time for bed. Less than 6 hours to wake-up time.
