January 2013

Day 1
Broke in the New Year rather quietly. Dad and I incensed the house; Mum, Dad, Nan and I said the Rosary; watched the fireworks on telly; kissed one another; sat down to mushroom soup and shepherd's pie for supper, which was our first meal of the year! BabyGirl was tucked up in bed, but she was still awake when I went upstairs just after midnight to kiss her. She laughed and rolled her eyes at my lame "you've been in bed since last year" joke.

Bro was working; he got home at 2ish, so didn't get to break in with him.

Woke up late, of course, lounged around all day.

Day 2
Stayed up all night, watched Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2013 on YouTube, and livestreamed Sherlock. It's finally back! And honestly, it was like watching fanfiction. Mofftiss, have you been scouring Tumblr?

Crashed for a couple hours at about 10am, then ran an errand for mum. Came home, showered up, then went over to Shoes' place.
She got me the BEST t-shirt for Christmas! It says "you had me at your immaculate spelling and flawless use of grammar".

How ME is that?!

Only problem is the complete lack of punctuation...

Was lovely to see Shoes and her brood again. I never really realise how much I miss the kids until I hang out again, and then it hits me that I really really missed them!

Got back not too long ago. I have 3 hours to pack and bake some brownies...early start to my day tomorrow. Road Trip!!!! Well, we're driving up to Mersing, and then we'll ferry to Juara on Pulau Tioman. Looking forward to it!
