Quasi-Weekend!

Alright then, you know how I'm supposed to write something for ten minutes every day this month? Halfway through....I have nothing left to write about. No, that's not true. I have lots to write about. A couple of those things might even be of interest. But I'm... just.... knackered.

Why am I so knackered? It's only Tuesday! Well, here's my theory: Tomorrow's a public holiday, which means that today feels like the end of a (very short) work week. Hence the tiredness! I've worked a full week!

Season finale of Weeds is up.
Latest episodes of Chuck and HIMYM are up.

I...am not so up. I'm more than ready for bed now, actually. I've been going to bed pretty early lately, at least early by my terms. For someone who used to have no problem going to bed at 2am....I've not been the same night bird of late. Then again, I've been waking up much earlier for work.

Oh, and it's brilliant being so early for work! It just leads to really leisurely mornings, which sets the tone for the rest of the day. And today was a fantastic day! The sun was out today, and it was just a gorgeous morning. And gorgeous mornings generally lead to gorgeous moods in the office! Of course, the mood was helped by
1) it being the eve of a holiday
2) the Yardside Project Manager giving everyone in the office a box of Ferrero Rocher.

I'm giving the chocolates a miss for now, so I brought the box home for the folks. Hey, if I can't enjoy the chocs, at least the family will!

Went grocery shopping after work. Ugh. If I ever decide to run a supermarket, the first law I'd lay down is that no secondary school students/JC students/undergrads are allowed. I know it's the school hols, but do they really have no other place to play? Also, people just get stupid in crowds. There were so many daft things going on around me today; if I were to write them all down, I'd be here all night. Then again, I think I'm guilty of at least two stupid acts.

Looking forward to a bit of a lie-in tomorrow morning. Did consider going into the office, then thought....WHY?!? So I get to lie-in, then Nan and A.Nan are coming over, so it'll be family time, which is always lovely.

Was planning to tutor tomorrow, but Shoes did say that Thursday/Friday was ok, so that works out for me too. Lazy midweek, hurrah!

And on that note, I'm going to bed.
